Today, I'm excited to introduce Oliver Lendon and his middle grade fantasy, No Tune Ned.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR ✍️
Oliver Lendon is a children’s author from the United Kingdom who loves building worlds both on the page and in code. His favourite book growing up was Mort by Terry Pratchett which taught him that humour and heart can share the same page. No-Tune Ned is his traditional publishing debut releasing with Everything With Words in 2026.
In the monster filled kingdom of Dravenloch music is magic and it can calm beasts rally warriors and mend the broken. Ten year old Ned Numbles dreams of becoming a legendary bard but he has one small problem. He is completely terrible at it. After a humiliating performance earns him the name No Tune Ned he sets out to prove he belongs in a world where every note matters. Joined by an unlikely pair of companions, Ned is drawn into a journey that will test his courage, his imagination and the strange unpredictable power of his off key voice. As the realm faces a rising threat Ned begins to discover that the things that make him different may be the very things that can save the kingdom.
